Sean Cooper

I’m Sean Cooper, a product owner and game director with over 30 years of experience delivering innovative, player-focused games by uniting product vision, design craft, and technical execution.

My journey began at Bullfrog Productions, where I directed and programmed Syndicate (1993) — a cyberpunk real-time tactics game that pushed the boundaries of strategy and simulation. I brought the same approach to Magic Carpet and Dungeon Keeper, aligning cross-functional teams to deliver genre-defining experiences built on technical innovation and bold creative direction.

Following Bullfrog’s acquisition by Electronic Arts, I continued in a leadership role as game director on Dungeon Keeper 2 and contributed to large-scale titles like 007: Everything or Nothing, refining my ability to guide complex, high-impact projects across design, engineering, and production.

Most recently, I contributed to Cities: Skylines II as product owner and designer of the character content generation system — developing the pipelines and tools that created the visual diversity of every citizen in the game.

Whether leading indie hits like the Boxhead series or building advanced systems with Unity and GPU compute, I bring a systems-driven mindset to crafting tools and experiences that scale — for players, teams, and products alike.
